The box was slightly damaged and the accessories were just thrown in, so of course it has to be sent back and repackaged. The flashlight itself is fairly light (not heavy) and feels almost flimsy, but the quality and brightness of the light is excellent. Lightweight little remote control to change intensity and hue. A large tripod is designed for heavy loads - it feels better than a light one! Also included in the package is a small, flimsy tripod that wasn't on the materials list. In general, I returned this lantern because: a) the lantern is too big - 12 inches. too big for meetings with laptop scaling; b) the whole setup - tripods, 12 inch flashlight - too big for a laptop; it took up my whole table. If you work standing and have a lot of space, this is a good light. If you have a compact space and you zoom in on a laptop, this is too much.
