The journal comes with some dents from the strap. This bothered me at first, but while brainstorming ways to cover it, I decided to make the cover motivational with quotes and Bible verses that would have otherwise been buried in my calendars and to do lists. The paper is very nice to write on and is very smooth. The ribbon bookmark is short but I don't use it very much anyways. I had to tape the pocket in the back already after a month, but to be fair I use it a lot. For my first bullet journal, I really like it! It's simple and feels nice, which is what I was looking for.

- The notebook may not be refillable, meaning it will need to be replaced often
