A good upgrade from Moleskine notebooks.

I've been using Moleskine notebooks for the last few years and loved them, but I have had people tell me they are overpriced in light of the quality. I never had an issue with Moleskines until I started using fountain pens--this is where paper is put to the test. I've tried three different types of Moleskine with fountain pens, and the paper is totally different. But unless you are using the Cahier notebooks, with fountain pens (or anything else that writes very wet), you are going to…

Pros
  • ‎Dotted
Cons
  • The notebook may not lie flat when opened, which can make writing on the innermost pages difficult

Best notebook, period.

I’ve used Rhodia dot grid notebooks for years and absolutely love them. They are great for notes, sketching, and journaling. Because they come in many colors, it’s easy to tell them apart. The cover feels soft and sturdy at the same time, and the paper is high quality. I’ll buy these over and over again.

Pros
  • ‎9.6 ounces
Cons
  • The notebook may not be available in enough colors or designs to suit everyone's taste

Is as advertised best in my review

The journal comes with some dents from the strap. This bothered me at first, but while brainstorming ways to cover it, I decided to make the cover motivational with quotes and Bible verses that would have otherwise been buried in my calendars and to do lists. The paper is very nice to write on and is very smooth. The ribbon bookmark is short but I don't use it very much anyways. I had to tape the pocket in the back already after a month, but to be fair I use it a lot. For my first bullet…

Pros
  • Perfect for bullet journaling to bring order to daily tasks
Cons
  • The notebook may not be refillable, meaning it will need to be replaced often

Really good paper for my opinion

I have Schmidt Easyflow refills that I use in my pen and combined with this great paper writing is buttery smooth. I use it for taking notes at work and the small pocket in the back is perfect to throw a couple business cards in. Easy five stars. No cons that I've noticed. It looks really great and professional and again, the paper is noticeably better than anything else I've used. I also have a small stapled pad No 12 A7 notepad that I carry in my back pocket when not at work just for random…

Pros
  • Ideal for studying, brainstorming, or recording ideas
Cons
  • The cover may show dirt and smudges easily
