I just hooked up the pins to my X3 and was very disappointed to find that they do NOT have any of the cool tracking, spiraling or "snake" features that almost all LED pin lights have to have. The product description suggests or at least suggests they do so by describing "spiral lights", but don't believe it. They don't do anything cool. Sure, the individual LEDs are arranged in a spiral, but who cares? These whips basically have two functions: steady light or flashing. You can change the colors and adjust the flash rate, but that's all they do. If I had known that, I would not have ordered them! It's too late to return it, so I'll stick with them. Guess I'll wait until they pop off the base and then replace them with something more fun. I only gave two stars due to lack of features and somewhat misleading ad descriptions. They aren't explicitly said to have a spiral sequence, but then why mention the spiral arrangement of the LEDs at all? Who the heck cares if the lights are spiral wrapped if they don't do some cool spiral stuff!
