Here is my take on it. I have a home system consisting of an old Dell desktop computer with no Wi-Fi, a multifunction printer/scanner/fax and a couple of external hard drives plugged into my downstairs office and a laptop. , two printers and a scanner are used in another upstairs office. The older Rosewill Wi-Fi router does both wired and Wi-Fi, but not very well. I liked the router interface that Leviton offers, although it can only be controlled with an Ethernet cable. With my old setup I always had to reset connections - agony. Now it's easy to reset settings when needed. In fact, I haven't had to reset since installing Leviton. I just reconfigured my old Rosewill for wireless needs and added it via one of the LAN ports. Although this configuration requires two electrical connections, this is not a problem since I also use a multi-connection surge protector. routers. Yes, it's expensive, but also very well made. Maybe this setup would be redundant if I had an updated wireless router, but it works for my application.
