Review on ๐Ÿพ Jillmo 2 Liter Fermentation Jar Kit with Weights and Airlocks โ€“ Set of 2 by Lisa Zimmerman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing attention to detail and packaging. Everything you need in one fermentation kit!

I have been fermenting for several years and this is the BEST fermenting jar I have ever seen! hole in the glass cover. Additionally, the seal is silicone, not rubber which can dry out over time, with a plug attached and a spare in case you lose it! The lid is tight so it doesn't seem like air can get in like some of these types of jars. The packaging was immaculate! Dense foam specially designed for these particular items ensures a snug fit. Husband dropped the box on the cement driveway but you'll never know, even 1 piece is out of place let alone damage or breakage. The ends of the wire bales had silicone tabs to prevent damage which I saved to hold on to, it looks much higher quality. They are easy to put on and take off for cleaning. Just don't put the bales in the dishwasher as they are likely covered in nickel which will tarnish and rust. Typical of all balls I have seen on such cans. They are easy to take off but difficult to put back on. Do a YouTube search to find out how to customize the lid of the fido jar. You can't go wrong with these kits, everything is top notch including the glass weights and I've had many! In a review here, it was noted that kettlebells do not prevent food from flotation. This applies to ALL glass scales. This is very easy to do by placing a few cabbage leaves on the food after filling it with brine. Place a glass weight on top of the cabbage, making sure the food stays submerged in the brine, close the lid, fill the water seal as needed, and you're golden!
