The other day there was no heating so I went to the stove and finally found that the pilot light wasn't working. I went through the reset process several times and the light went out IMMEDIATELY after releasing the reset button. I checked the internet and found out pretty quickly that this is probably the case. I found a 24" at Lowe's that worked in a pinch but really wasn't long enough so I bought the 30" version. Ideal for Weil-McClain gas boilers. After figuring out what was going on in the firebox, the replacement turned out to be pretty easy since it was my first time working with it, it only required a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. If you get stuck, YouTube should be able to help you troubleshoot issues. Before doing this, be sure to turn off the thermostat or lower it completely, and also turn off the gas supply to the stove. You do NOT want the oven to catch fire while you are working on it.
