I don't know what "softness" has to do with it, but I was asked to rate it. anyway they are amazing. I put them in the car to organize all my son's stuff for our last day trip. There are plenty of pockets for small toys, snacks, his coloring book and crayons, even an iPad. It was always a bit difficult figuring out what to put in his car seat's second cup holder to satisfy his desire for independence but still keep him entertained. But now I don't just have to guess on one topic - we've got everything he needs neatly laid out and within reach. And best of all, it grows with you to meet all of his future interests without cluttering up the car! I'm really looking forward to when he's old enough to do it all on his own, but until then I'm really glad I don't have to rummage through my diaper bag or try to find what he wants on the floor during our travels. . !
