Review on πŸ§₯ Stay Warm and Stylish with Alpine North Women's Winter Jacket at Coats, Jackets & Vests by Juana Hynes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A beautiful well tailored coat perfect for arctic weather and winter photos!

I bought this coat for a trip to Finland and the Arctic Circle. I've searched long and hard for a coat that's both thick and warm, yet bright enough blue to look good in photos! Yes, I know it's in vain, but I decided that I would only go to the Arctic Circle once, and I can try to look good! ;) Anyway, this coat did everything I hoped it would. It's very heavy (it looks like it weighs 10 pounds when you take it out of the box) but when you wear it it doesn't feel too heavy. It was easy to move around in and kept me TOTALLY warm in the Arctic Circle (I had to take a few layers off it felt so good). It was a bit tight on the chest but I could wear a few layers underneath and if I was just wearing a sweater it was ok. My only complaint was that the closed hood is a tiny hole that only your eyes can see through. out, and the fur around the hood is too long. However, I was hoodless most of the time and found wearing it looser was fine. I think a tight hood would be useful for snowmobiling or skiing as the wind wouldn't blow the hood back. The coat was fairly water repellent but as you can see in my photo in the rain it ended up leaking water and it took a long time to dry. Still, I recommend this coat, it was stylish, durable and great value! I got asked by so many people where I bought it and as you can see I had a lot of fun filming in the arctic! If I could rate it a 10 I would give it an 8.5 but since it only has 5 stars I gave it a full rating because it's still a great buy!
