I am very conflicted

I won't lie I bought this bottle opener because it looked good and I wanted to impress my customers. What, as they say; IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY, this opener is not perfect. It's not terrible, just finicky and time-consuming to use properly. Accessing the foil cutter is not an easy task, but it will eventually break. The material seems very strong, but the construction requires some work. The corkscrew mechanism bothered me the most. The angle at which the screw enters the anchor is too sharp. The corkscrew itself is too thick and chrome plated for some reason. I've never broken so many corks in three days before a wine rep blessed me with one of theirs in my entire career. If you try to open a composite cork, you can forget about it because the surface of the cork will start to bubble. In this sense, a corkscrew works almost like a drill. In my opinion, a thinner and angled corkscrew would have made this wine key 10x better. I would NEVER try to open vintage wine with this key. Now I know it feels like I'm tearing up that wine key for revenge, but to be honest, it's not bad. Much more downward force is required to avoid breaking the cork. It's just that people in the service industry don't have the time or the patience. I've used it at home and can't complain. Looks good, the material is strong, the assembly is strong. Not that bad.
