As advertised good for me

Needed to disconnect water service to my master bathroom while doing some remodeling and these end caps fill the bill. Current supply lines are CPVC (which will be replaced with PEX ultimately); I cut the supply lines with a tubing cutter and snapped these fittings on -- no worries about water in the lines interfering with glue-up or extra cure time in cold weather before re-pressurizing the lines. Water was back on to the rest of the house in 5 minutes (not including crawling under the house to locate the pipes ;-) ).

Cons

Despite being marketed as a push fit product, some users have reported difficulties getting the end cap to securely attach to their plumbing materials
