Review on 🔒 Schlage Lock FE285 CEN 619 LAT Century Front Entry Handle Lever, Latitude Interior Lever in Satin Nickel, 11.9 x 2.5 x 2.25 by James Vilchez

This lock worked perfectly from January 2016 to April 2018 and has had many problems since. We used it in conjunction with the Wink Hub. Batteries are discharged approximately every 3 months, with or without frequent use. Now the keyboard is dead and we've tried every possible fix without a factory reset or Schlage support. I tried calling Schlage but couldn't get anyone to help. I'm waiting to see if they reply to the email I sent with instructions on how to get it working again. I'm not 100% sure if replacing it with a new similar model will end up with the same problems. These door locks are not cheap. They really should have a lifespan longer than 3 years. I'm deducting two stars as I feel the comfort of this item has deteriorated drastically over the past 9 months.
