Review on Viking Professional Cutlery Paring Knife by Christina Potter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality paring knife

I really like this knife. It was beautifully packaged and the fit and finish is excellent. If you're going to give it as a gift, your recipients must be impressed. Super sharp and ready to use. I have medium-sized hands and find the handle ergonomics ideal for this type of knife. Easy to use for a long time without fatigue and good for precision work. X50CrMOV15 is a good choice for a kitchen knife as it is stain and corrosion resistant. X50CrMOV15 isn't the best steel in the world to hold a blade, so you probably need a good sharpening steel to get the most out of this knife (and if you're looking for a knife in this price and caliber, you probably do). This is my first Viking knife and overall I am very happy with it. In the future I will try to replenish my collection with Viking knives.

Pros
  • Great for me
