This case is totally useless if you're looking for something that will really protect your drive if you drop it. The outside is very hard but not even durable/solid. It's flexible and flexible. It is POSSIBLY 3mm thick plastic and lined with sheer fabric on the inside. The plastic DVD case is stronger than this. The bay isn't even the right size for this drive, leaving more than an inch on the sides for it to slide and bounce.
