We bought this to replace a Sony boombox that was around 20 years old and didn't support modern features like USB and Bluetooth. Here in Florida we often sit by the pool at night and listen to music. This model is much smaller than the old one, but the sound is much better, and it's nice that you can play MP3 files from your smartphone or flash drive. Our only suggestion for Sony is to add a remote control and backlit display. Otherwise it's great!
