We spend a lot of time on the boat and outdoors and need to protect our phones from the rain and sea, especially from accidentally falling overboard. We haven't used them on a boat yet but the recommended 15 minute waterproof test worked and then I tested them for buoyancy with my phone inside and that worked too. Although advertised as touch-friendly, none of the touchscreens on our three different phones in the case (iPhone 8, iPhone SE 2020 and Moto X4) work. If that was one of our purchasing criteria, we would return them as they are not. We are happy with what we got.
