I wore glasses for decades before my corrective surgery. I say that because wearing these glasses creates a distorted image if you are not looking at the center of the lenses, like with the new prescription. I'm used to it. I used bifocals before I bought them, but found them tiring when I had to read charts or work at close range for long periods of time. I would have to lift them off my nose and stick them on my forehead. You're only laughing because you know what I'm talking about. They are also comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I fixed gear most of the day, wore it all the time, and had no trouble seeing up close. Fair warning against trying to use them at distances more than an arm's length. For nausea and safety reasons, I don't do this for long as I use Grandpa's way of carrying.
