Review on πŸ”„ Enhanced Pendulum Suspension Springs: Introducing New Howard Miller or Hermle Models by Marco Maurer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

New suspension spring Howard Miller or Hermle pendulum

I don't like some reviews. I bought it despite the reviews. I looked at other websites and really liked that Revain has accurate measurements. While there were some positive reviews, I wish people would just tell the whole story. I bought these for a Linden 1051-020 mantel clock. I had an old broken suspension spring to measure. The Revain product was exactly the same size. I bought a watch at the Union Gospel Store for $50. It took about 6 hours for the crutch and mechanism to work. But the suspension spring was removed and changed several times. It never broke. If you need to use the small needle nose to bend or straighten the crutch, the spring needs to go in and out. It will break if you don't. After all my effort and time the clock works. It was worth my time. I also found it good that the replacement part has metal tips in contrast to the original. They were either plastic or nylon. As for my knowledge of winding watches, zero. But watching YouTube helped.
