Review on Custom Shop/TCP Global (Box Of 50 Lids - Quart Size) Exclusively Fits TCP Global 32 Ounce Paint Mix Cups by Julian Banks

The mixing cups are larger than the standard 32oz cup

The TCP mixing cup allows you to put 32oz in a cup and still have room to stir without spilling. My other mugs I've used have a 32 ounce rim, the maximum I could mix was 29 ounces and I had to stir slowly and carefully to avoid spilling. Now I can mix 34 oz (30 oz + 3 oz + 1 oz) of my catalyzed polish in a cup and not have to bother with stirring. If you take the cup on opposite sides and slowly pull to break the vacuum, they always come out. The person who said they used compressed air probably has a good idea, I'll try it. The lids that come with it don't close very tightly. I would be afraid to knock over a full cup with a lid and expect it to stay airtight. I poured some cleaning solvent into a cup and covered it with a lid. I'm going for 3 days. There was a very slight softening of the cup but absolutely nothing to worry about. I use an acid catalyzed conversion varnish that has stayed in the cup for over 6 hours and had no effect on the cup. It looks like you could let the polish dry completely and then use compressed air to blow off the dried coating and reuse the mug. I typically use 2 cups a day if I'm only spraying one color or clear coat. The first cup is mixed and used to feed the spray pump. The second cup is used to mix more batches to fill the cup that feeds the atomizer pump. I don't use the ratio label on the mug, just the ounce label. I wish they were marked as an ounce and not even an ounce. I usually mix in 5 ounce amounts, so 5, 10, 15, 20. So there will be a bit of guesswork between labels, I don't think that will be a problem. These mugs cost almost half of the mugs I have used. The 74 cent cups I've used are much stronger and the lids are tight and secure. I rarely use lids. I have only used one cup so far and it has worked just as well as the cups I use. They're bigger which is a plus, they're cheaper and a lot clearer so I can see the contents more easily. I think they will work fine.
