The absolute best ripper! My only regret is that I didn't purchase a pack of more blades. I've worked with lightweight fabrics so I was worried it might damage it and while it's possible it still works great. As with all seam rippers, a little caution is required. This is by far the fastest and easiest seam ripper I've ever owned. Tip: Once the stitching is torn and you have all the fine threads, try using a lint roller (sticky) to pull the threads out. He will get almost all! It looks a bit unconvincing, but it's not. You could probably break it if you tried, but it held up well to some intense sewing tears, light to heavy fabrics and threads. It's pretty sharp so you'll have to leave the lid on when not in use.
