This straightener is just what I needed to trim fine pixie hair. This is the ideal size for both short 8 1/2 inch long slabs and smaller 3/4 inch wide slabs; The wireless connection takes it from really good to perfect! Its light weight given the built-in battery that charges quickly and allows about 40 minutes of operation between charges. I have thin baby hair that doesn't take high heat and this iron has 3 heat settings for different hair textures: High - 400, Medium. - 360 and low- 320. You can use it while charging and it comes with a big 40 inch USB cable. The smooth plates float and won't pull your hair in the slightest, and cordless as it twists/twist very easily as you curl your strands. It has an automatic shut off after 15 minutes. It comes with a detailed instruction manual, a vinyl locking end cap and a drawstring storage/carrying bag. It takes up little space in the dressing table. drawer and definitely great for on the go. While not recommended for thick or long hair, if you have fine, cropped hair [bob, pixie] you'll love this straightener.
