Review on 🚤 Waterproof Runabout Boat Cover by Leader Accessories - Solution Dyed, Trailerable Fit for V-Hull, Tri-Hull Fishing Ski, Pro-Style, and Bass Boats - Full Size by Gene Evans

Originally reviewed 13th July 2021 I have been buying the same boat cover for several years mainly because it has proven to be 100% waterproof. This coverage (which I won't name) is backed by a "4 Year Limited Warranty" but lasts anywhere from 18 to 24 months. This cover was supposed to fit a 24ft boat but didn't fully cover my 21ft boat. The straps worked well, but they were always about 6 inches shorter for ease of use. After the sun hit the cover, it started pouring fine dust into my boat and got torn very easily. The price I paid for "Other Cover" was around $139 and then went up. Last time I bought it it was $199. When I ordered a fifth copy today, it cost a little over $300. I couldn't stand the high price and poor quality anymore. Perfomance. I made a few purchases and decided to risk this leader brand. It was about 1/3 the price. I re-ordered the 24" version which has almost as good coverage as the old cap - just but not quite. Hooklink cap advertised as waterproof Let's see Straps are longer than the old case which is a bonus for me I like the material a bit lighter than the old case (which I threw in the trash) but it might be ok. My water resistance ratings that Durability and quality of material should be based on being wrong, but I'll be back when I have a year or more of data. My boat is outdoors 100% of the time so I rely on these covers to keep it looking new. I never wear this cover on a boat. I have a special $500 Yamaha branded suitcase that I only use for towing. Our boat is Yamaha SX210. This case suits me.
