After my kit arrived and after reading the very cryptic instructions I decided I couldn't install it on my Toyota Tacoma myself. I took it to the body shop and they installed it in the bumpers. However, he kept squeaking, even if nothing intervened. I was able to focus the problem on 2 sensor slots in the control box. Thinking this was the problem I ordered a different unit and replaced the control unit but left all the sensors and dash in place. I had the same problem but with different slots. My final solution was to disable the sensors associated with the problem slots and just plug in the rest. It's not ideal, but if something is in front of the truck (within 1.5 meters), it will beep. because there might be problems to troubleshoot. I strongly recommend that you install the control box where you can easily reach it. The hard part feeds all those wires from the sensors to the control unit.
