My old radiator cap was leaking even though I had a surge tank fitted on my 1966 Mustang. This is the original cooler. They have another one but it has a little less pressure in pounds so I decided to get this one as it said it could handle more pressure. My radiator has never leaked since I got it! To be clear when it leaked it was after I turned it off and the car was parked there. Now there are no more leaks and my radiator looks good again. (no liquid stains on fresh paint) If you have a real Mustang 66 I highly recommend fitting a radiator expansion tank. You won't be disappointed with this lid as apart from the brass in the center it looks almost identical to the original. Most people wouldn't even know.
