The axle fits my Specialized bike perfectly. However, the instructions state that the threads must not protrude beyond the end of the nut. If I do that, the axle will be too wide to fit in my machine, even if the machine is set to be as wide as possible. I assembled it with the threads sticking out and now it fits my sneaker. Kinetic needs to make a shorter version of this axle. Also, they should put washers between the outside of the frame and the bolt head and nut to prevent paint damage. I went to the hardware store and bought them, but I shouldn't have.
