I'm mechanically inclined. i can build things adjust things. put things together. so it shouldn't have taken me an hour! but it worked. I cut a hole in the rubber part of the handle and insert the rod. Hooray. It's wearable. I turned the wrench for what felt like an eternity, but it never tightened. I took it off and tried to tighten it. it dragged on. strange. I put it back in and tried again. Nothing. spiders and spiders. never stretches. I take it out and try again and it contracts so I think it's a pin. I put it back in and tried to tighten it and it literally fell apart in the grip. Rubber on the steering wheel did not allow to catch the parts. what took forever. I finally got all the parts out of my pen and put the cheap thing back together and luckily it took a puff this time. ugh Now it's time to put the mirror on the assembly. BUT HOW? They didn't include a screw or wrench, so I literally had to take apart something I had in my garage to get it working now. LIKE A REDIC! Would I buy this again? NO! Would I recommend it to a friend? NO! It's good on the bike but I NEVER believe it arrives boxed, ready to assemble and working. What a nightmare for a simple gadget.
