Review on Enhance Communication with Retevis Walkie Talkies: Rechargeable Channel by Sam Hansen

I do NOT recommend this product. At first I thought I got the wrong product. I've bought walkie-talkies with rechargeable lithium batteries. Batteries were included, but the battery compartment was designed for 3 AA batteries. Also when I went online, looked at what I bought, I found that they really do look like they should. So I put the battery in and connected the charging cable. The batteries themselves come with a Micro-B charging connector, but the cable is a small round adapter. Therefore, they have to connect themselves to the radio. Here's what I did. After 10 minutes my son smelled a horrible smell of burning plastic and we realized the battery was melting. There are no specific loading instructions so I did what seemed natural and I don't think this product is safe at all. I will contact Revain for a full refund. Let's see how it goes.
