Opinion of the stylist-hairdresser: everything is fine. 3.5 ⭐

I have been a hairdresser for over 30 years and have used many hair straighteners. This hair straightener is nicely packaged, comes in its own faux leather case with no straps and no instructions. The only information you get about the iron is on the box, most of it in different languages. The only paperwork you get in the box is the warranty card, which I don't know where it goes. The only accessory you get is a heat-resistant cover for the end of the straightener to hold the clamps together when you're done using them. Now to the hair straightener and my experiences with it. All controls are located inside, which eliminates the possibility of an accidental shutdown, which is a plus. It heats up quite quickly and noticeably by the green lights visible from an inside of the two straight clamps. They flash while heating up and light up when they have reached the selected temperature. The floating heating plates are beveled on each side but not at the ends, which allows hair to snag between them and the plastic clips. As for using the straightener, it's quite heavy and when I run it through a section of hair it doesn't want to grab my hair tightly and often gets caught in some of my hair, especially at the ends. It straightens fairly well but is more difficult to manage than other straighteners I've used in the past. I usually find it very easy to curl my hair with a hair straightener, but this one is a little too heavy and grips my hair too much to make it an easy task. I have fine fine wavy hair so this straightener can make all the difference. While this hair straightener is of decent quality, it's not the quality most professionals are looking for and the quality doesn't match the price. For this price, I expect a real leather case with some sort of strap, detailed instructions, negative ion technology, no hairline, smoother sliding, slightly lighter weight, and a warranty card that actually goes to the official site. Yes, really. This is my take on how I have used this hair straightener on a number of occasions. I look at hair and nail products with the critical eye of a licensed cosmetologist so a lot of things are just picky and they're still high quality household products. This hair straightener claims to be professional quality, but it doesn't stand up to the rigors of everyday stylist use. Suitable for a home user. I still find it quite expensive for this quality but the important thing is if you like the quality of something and you want it. If you do this, buy the product regardless of what others say.
