The BigPantha lock I purchased worked great and allowed me to lock a street legal off-road bike in public parking lots without a factory key. I returned a similar looking product that I had purchased from another company after realizing that the key on this bike was on the wrong side and the bike's handguards prevented me from inserting the key and using the lock . The key on the BigPantha lock faces the rider, so it can easily be used on a bike with handrails. Either way, the rider-side key idea that allows the rider to lock the bike before getting off the bike makes more sense. Thanks to this innovation last week in Telluride, Colorado, I was able to ride my bike off-road and have coffee with friends without worrying about someone getting on my KTM, pressing the start button and disappearing with my bike.
