After I got my Rift s, I just left them in the box with the cables coming out the side; wanted to get a place for this weird thing but with a small space and no real shelf space within reach of a pc this was the only option as other racks can't be wall mounted. So if you are in a similar position this is a great alternative. Just note that you need a lens cap. It is necessary. I personally use the one that comes with a fake Amvr foam face interface - if you turn it upside down, the nose cutout doesn't interfere with presence tracking, so the HMD turns off when not in use (but that's not an issue). One thing I would like to improve is to add some padding to the middle metal bar which is meant for HMD (could be added for controllers too but isn't that important). I found that the back foam has a dent from having to sit on bare metal. Oh, and maybe the metal is tilted down a bit; The HMD will rub right against the wall when installed unless you place it right on the edge, but then the thin strip of metal will be pushed into the foam even more.
