Many years ago I went to the mall and bought a pair that looked like this. At that time I was working in a very highly active job. My shoes/boots don't even last 6 months. The pair I bought were one of the best in this two year upgrade cycle. They are not. At about a third of that active level, I started noticing wear and tear within the first week. I'm not that rough with shoes, especially new shoes, that's unacceptable. To make matters worse, the left shoe felt like a defect in the ankle area, which was very annoying. I also noticed how both boots were sticking out. This made walking uncomfortable as I had to focus on shifting my weight inward as I walked. Sorry, but these boots weren't ready for prime time.
