The most helpful component is that it makes data entry much faster! I can enter my information once into one location (like an online patient portal) then copy/paste to each document without having repeat work or typing in twice as often!! It also helps with cross referencing between different departments so we don't have double entries where needed if there's discrepancies from our records vs their EMR system OR vice versa. Nothing really at this point but you should try out both systems together first & decide which fits your needs best. ! My favorite is that the system is very easy to use and the reports are very easy to generate and present. I dislike that the system is not more user friendly. It is not intuitive and the reporting can be difficult. It is great to have a way to organize and keep all of the lab work in one place. It is easier to go back and see what was done and when.
