Review on Hustler SSM1 Ss Professional Ball Mount & Spring by Vivek Allen

I've tried several cheaper ball/spring mounts with a 102" whip over the years. I have to say this one does it all Far the best.I've used.The power pos is much better insulated than other mounts I've used.I didn't have to make any modifications to this type.Good cork pad rather than a flimsy rubber pad that rots in a year.one of those Threaded holes during installation but I blame it on the fact that I just overtightened it.But all 3 bolts were fitted with lock washers and nuts for support.The spring is one of the heaviest I've seen.An earlier one Review says it's small and flimsy which isn't the case unless you're trying to drive an A99 or something There is a nut on the top i It makes tightening and loosening the antenna much easier. If you are looking for a quality ball mount for your 102", look no further!
