It's a lot nicer to pull than some stupid thread I had to hold on to.
Much easier to pull than a stupid thread that I used to have to pull with my paw in the dark. Not only that, but when I enter my room at night, the minimal light coming from the window refracts through the plastic, making it easier to find and grab. Obviously it's plastic so it won't look pretty, "quality" looks like it, but it's definitely an improvement over the standard plastic cone at the end of the pull rod.
