Hey, it's just a chain. It's pretty pretty and it works. What else do you need? If you like the style, buy. I guarantee it will draw what it needs, virtually indefinitely.

We have 40 foot ceilings in our apartment. I bought 3 of these for our ceiling fans. Now I can shift without problems. We have a state of the art living room and antique furniture in the master bedroom; they go well in both.

They look really good but unfortunately not of very good quality. I used them on my ceiling fan in the kitchen and they looked great, but after only a few months the cables just snapped. The plastic broke at the attachment point.

Each comes in its own little box, the links can be easily removed to get the right length and the design in the end was exactly what I wanted as it the small end matched my blinds. Easy to assemble, looks good and is easy to pull. Doesn't break even when pulled hard.

This is a quality chain for a fan or ceiling light. Easy to install if you have an existing pull chain. The length can be cut with a good pair of scissors. Would buy again. I think the crystal is acrylic or something but still attractive.

This chain is cute and cheap but not gaudy. It's durable, cheap and attractive. In the end the chain was long enough that I was able to reach the train without having to use another chain extender and I'm 5ft 0! That last bit depends on your ceiling + fan height. A few dollars more for a much better price.

Much easier to pull than a stupid thread that I used to have to pull with my paw in the dark. Not only that, but when I enter my room at night, the minimal light coming from the window refracts through the plastic, making it easier to find and grab. Obviously it's plastic so it won't look pretty, "quality" looks like it, but it's definitely an improvement over the standard plastic cone at the end of the pull rod.

Imagine I just moved into a new apartment and there are five fans but no chains. Also imagine: I didn't realize how difficult it is to find traction chains in the store. (Apparently the big stores don't have chains. You'll have to go to the hardware store.) Thank goodness Revain. These are the chains I wanted.
