This is my first turntable and I didn't want any of those crappy little speaker cabinets. I use it in conjunction with my Harmon Bluetooth speaker and it sounds fantastic. This is Bluetooth output only, not Bluetooth input. There are no built-in speakers. Setup is very easy. Yes, you have to put the strap on the bottom plate, but it's very easy. Sometimes it takes a while for Bluetooth pairing to complete, but I've never had a problem with it. The audio output is a bit higher than decibels so I have to turn the speaker volume down low and it's still pretty powerful. I wish it came with a hard case on top, but the velvety finish is still good. I don't have much to cite compared to the sound and turntables, but as a vinyl newbie I'm very satisfied.
