I gave this product 5 stars because of the ease of installation and the quality of the product. If you've used these cord stops before but had one that didn't split in two. You know how hard it is to get a winch loop cable through a little rubber hole. For me it was always a good 30 minutes trying to get a cable through a small hole. Rugged Ridge made it so much easier! The rubber part is divided into 2 halves and fastened with 2 screws. I installed one of these on my 12 CanAm Commander 1000 with a steel winch cable. I had no issues with the size of the hole on this connector and installing a steel cable between the two halves. It seemed like the perfect fit for me. I also have one of these stoppers on my 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 700 that has a synthetic rope cable also known as blue steel. I didn't have any problems with the synthetic rope either. Even with a nylon sleeve to protect the cable. Fits great and does exactly what it's supposed to. Very satisfied with the product and its design. I would recommend this to any of my side by side and quad riders!
