Missing a key feature that all other digital timers have, I was sweet with only two stars

I was about to say a lot of good things about this timer until I realized it inexplicably had an important one Missing feature that all other digital timers of this type have, namely manual on-off, is usually a button, pressing which turns on the power at the scheduled time or turns off the power at the scheduled time. . Normal programming then continues at the next scheduled on-off event. Every digital timer I've owned over the last few decades has this feature, to the point where I would never have thought to check before purchasing Honeywell (an otherwise well-respected brand) to see if it had this basic feature has that all other digital timers have. I would give it one star because that's what this timer is worth to me because as soon as I find a replacement this timer will be thrown in the trash as I use the manual on off function quite a bit. But I understand that not everyone needs to toggle it on and off manually and I don't want to discourage people who don't need this feature, otherwise it's a good timer so I'll be merciful and give it three stars. But if you need manual on-off, consider this one-star timer because it doesn't. Update 7/11/2020 I bought a BN-Link outdoor timer from Revain to replace Honeywell and the BN-Link timer works great and does exactly what I want it to do for the same price as Honeywell. The manual on-off on the BN-Link works a little differently than other digital timers I've used, you press the mode button and it turns on (or off) instantly but stays on regardless of future schedules- or switched off. However, if you want normal operation to resume at the next scheduled event, just press the mode again and it toggles to automatic but stays on or off until the next scheduled event. Very good. I've used the manual on-off feature several times and it works great. Now the Honeywell goes to the trash because, as I mentioned in my original review, it doesn't have the ability to turn it on and off manually. But then again, not everyone probably uses manual on-off, so I'm giving my three-star rating for those folks, as the Honeywell timer seemed to work fine otherwise at the time I was using it.
