I'm not usually very enthusiastic about a product but unfortunately I've lost a lot of personal memories by entrusting them to a playo DVD-R. Out of 60 discs, only about 25% are readable between 6 different brands of drives (HP, Toshiba, Sony, LG, RCA and Dell). Most of the time on a Windows XP or 7 PC it asks if I want to create a recordable DVD and says it's blank. However, on some devices I can read parts of the data. Bottom line, I don't have any of these issues with some of the other brands I've used including Memorex, Sony, Teon, Office Depot (not sure who makes them) that use the same process and equipment. I just can't recommend them to my worst enemy for data/video storage. Most of them were less than 3 years old and have a 75% failure rate, which is beyond acceptable.
