I received this replacement hose/handle and it took about 5 minutes for the hose to stay connected to the cleaner body. The end of the handle did NOT stay connected no matter what I tried. My wife had a party and I didn't have time to help her prepare, so I literally had to wrap her in duct tape to keep her connected. I compared the new grip to the old one and noticed that the little red tab that connects the grip on the replacement is smaller than the original.
