Why are they made so cheap but so expensive?

I needed new red ribbons for the Christmas decorations outside. I'm shocked at how hard they are to find and how expensive they are for what you get. I may have to start making my own. They did what I needed, but they won't last long. Some needed extra wire to hold the bow together and they all needed wire to attach them to something as there was no wire for that. Disappointed with what you get for what you pay for.
