Review on πŸ‘£ Jambu Squamata Outdoor Fisherman Sandal: Stylish and Sturdy Boys' Footwear by Aaron Schultz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They are big and the laces are weird

I bought these for my 9 year old who wears 4 to 5 depending on the shoe and brand. I bought these when he was 5 because his legs are still growing and I wanted them to last more than a summer. His feet swam in it. He has another pair of 5s and they match perfectly while he has a pair of 4s that also match perfectly. I'm not entirely sure if they have some sort of policy on boys' shoes. You are so unpredictable. However. When you receive them they look amazing, they are clearly well made and I am sure that once we get the size right they will be perfect. I returned them today and ordered a size 4. These shoes are summer sneakers/sandals, they have a mess at the top and elastic laces to pull them on. However, when my son tried to tighten them, the laces got too long and looked awful. The laces attach to the velcro at the top to keep them from dangling or tripping, but pulling on them to tighten them and connect them to this velcro creates a large loop that protrudes from the top of the boot, because the elastic is quite stiff, doesn't dangle. My son hated this part. I think if they need to be pulled up they are too big. If your son or daughter has narrow feet, these are not the best shoes. I posted a photo of what I'm talking about with shoelaces.
