Okay- so it definitely runs one-two sizes to small. I am normally a size small to medium in tops, typically a small. This top took me a literal 5 minutes just to fasten the clasps (after adjusting the ribbon in the back). The top has a piece of fabric (sewn in like an optional flap to cover your skin where the ribbon is). If you adjust the ribbon and make it larger, you may end up having skin showing like I do in the picture, as the flap is a bit too small. I would recommend sizing up on to two sizes and think this would fix that issue.HOWEVER, I will not be sizing up. I wear a C cup bra and have a relatively small chest. The chest area is already not form-fitting with the medium. It works but it definitely has too much space and I am a little worried about my breast showing if I lean over. So sizing up will definitely lead to the top area being too large if you have a smaller chest. If you have a large chest then it should be fine!Also: please note that this is definitely just a fashion corset. It is not supportive to the back and will not help you waist train. It actually makes my waist larger than normal lol. I am going to try wearing an actual corset/waist trainer underneath in hopes of making it a bit more flattering.
