Review on 🚿 Moen T2191BG Align Posi-Temp Pressure Balancing Tub and Shower Valve Trim Kit, Valve Required, Brushed Gold by Terry West

After cutting a large hole in my 1957 bathroom shower wall, I wanted to replace the old switch with a valve that I wouldn't have to pull out for the next 57 years. I also needed it to fit in a relatively small space (for soldering). I have looked at many other brands and Moen has what I consider to be the best valve replacement technology on the market. Do your research and you'll see what I mean. After that we had to choose the right trim kit to cover the remaining 4 1/2 inch hole needed for the valve. So technically, the Posi-Temp system is an excellent base to create a water supply system for your shower. The valve is designed to maintain a temperature of + - 3 degrees with normal household water consumption (and with the water heater running). My expectations in this area were exceeded. The equipment pack was the last step and we wanted something beautiful and functional. The T2191 is exceptionally attractive and reliable. It doesn't look like it's going to fall apart in a few years. Everything I needed to install the trim pack was in the box and it fit very well. So if you already have a posi temperature valve installed or are doing a renovation and have a moen posi temperature valve installed, this is a great way to complete the installation.
