I've just ordered two more sets of these warm thermal socks. They don't heat up autonomously, their own body does all the work, but my goodness, what an amazing job they do! My husband, who usually just shrugs when I ask him to cover his legs with something warm, has actually been looking for them in clean underwear and will now ask for them a few times a week because he loves the way they feel . They're not too tight to pinch the skin, but not so loose that they fall off the leg. It feels like warm down inside (which thankfully doesn't come out in the wash) and when it's at work I grab a pair because they're more comfortable than a lot of the warm women's socks I have. We've had them for a couple of months now (almost a year) and with regular wear, probably 2 times a week for a pair, they're in pretty much the same condition as when the box started. Now that we're both hooked I'll probably be ordering more later in the fall.
