Many years ago I bought a 4 cup glass measuring cup from another manufacturer because I didn't want to spend extra money on Pyrex (although my mother used it all the time). Last fall (September 2016) I decided it was finally time to buy a nicer measuring cup as the paint was peeling off my old unbranded one. Unfortunately, this Pyrex baby must have a defective spout because when I pour, the liquid flows along the wall of the cup, not where I'm trying to direct it.
