When I first opened the box and felt the wheels of this bike I wasn't sure. It was easy to assemble. I watched the assembly video on the purchase page so I didn't really use the instructions. All the tools I needed were there. I was very surprised and glad I kept the bike after my toddler test rode it. I just wasn't aware of the benefits of this type of wheel (a new product for me that seems to have been around for a while). My son was thrilled to have a "Big Boy" bike like his older brothers. He drives it all over the neighborhood and the park. He has no problem walking on both grass and sidewalks. Sometimes it falls and gets back up, and this bike holds up. (Hooray for biker gloves). One benefit I didn't think of is that it's lightweight and easy to carry. Sometimes my little one gets fussy (like all little ones) and I have to carry him and the bike the rest of the way home; Lightness and comfort are the main advantages of my short frame. We have had the bike for 5 months now and it still holds up like new when I ride the bike almost twice a week. It has 1 or 3 small scratches from a fall but that's to be expected. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
