Bad product, not worth the money.

Seagate after 7200.9 is not worth taking - when this "barracuda" died, I bought WD Black (almost for the same money) and it has been living for more than 3 years, and the previously purchased green - more than 5 years. In the past Seagate (7200.7, U9) was more reliable than WD, unfortunately this is a thing of the past. If you care about your data, do not buy these discs, and if you have them, store your documents and photos with cats in an online storage or on discs not of this office.

Pros

+ high speed (200mbs on average) + low price at the time of purchase (2022)

Cons

- an extremely unreliable series, it is actually guaranteed to die after the end of the warranty (or even before it, I died after a year and 8 months) - has an English character, dying suddenly and irrevocably (after the attack, the disk went into a deep coma, hanging the system after loading and the first access to it, if it was connected). I was lucky, somewhere around 60% of the data I saved, including critical documents, but most part with the data forever - The GrenadaBP platform is almost unrepairable, + 300% to the cost of extracting data - Constant clicks due to the curve of the head parking

Dead. Less than 2 years old. RAID 1, so don't worry. But in a compartment with 10+ (then tired of counting) dead 1TB Segates before these, the trust in the office is undermined in the bud.
