These bulbs will not work like the same brand at the pet store. The algae continued to grow, if not faster.
I would never buy the wrong quality light bulbs again when you buy them in the store. Whatever was bought in the store in a day or two killed the algae. They seemed to make him grow faster and didn't hurt him.
