I have AMST who has a lot of skin allergies. I started on a chrome snapper and she was so allergic to nickel that her throat developed an itchy rash that turned into scabs. I switched to Kurogan and it all went away (until it turned out she was allergic to nylon too). This is a 58 lb dog with a 16 inch neck and needed an additional connection to the regular collar. I wish there weren't any additional links. It's so expensive, but Amazon was cheaper (with free shipping) than other sites I checked. They aren't shiny like the picture, which is a good thing. They are more flexible than the stainless and chrome versions so I had to make sure they were all bent properly so they wouldn't slip out. The dead ring and live ring are the same so I left a tie on the live ring to mark who is using it I am a proponent of betting spike collars as training collars without this kurogan collar my strong pity will drag you down the road me am glad there is something for those allergic dogs.
